Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Primal Eva operates primaleva.com, an AI-powered personal development application. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy mean Primal Eva. Questions or requests regarding your data can be directed to hello@primaleva.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • · Account data: your email address and display name, provided when you sign up.
  • · Profile data: date of birth, time of birth, and city of birth. This is used to generate your personal blueprint.
  • · Conversation and journal data: messages you send to Eva, journal entries, and statements you confirm or deny during onboarding. This is the core of how Eva learns your patterns over time.
  • · Usage data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via server logs.
  • · Payment data: handled entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your card number or payment credentials.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • · To generate and maintain your personal blueprint and insights.
  • · To power Eva's responses using your conversation history and recognised patterns.
  • · To process and manage your subscription via Paddle.
  • · To send service emails — account confirmations, subscription receipts, and important product updates.
  • · To diagnose technical issues and improve the reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Data Processors and Third Parties

We share data with the following processors to operate the Service:

  • · Supabase — database hosting and authentication. Your account and conversation data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • · Anthropic (Claude API) — your conversation messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude model to generate Eva's responses. Anthropic's data processing terms apply.
  • · Paddle — payment processing. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
  • · Vercel — application hosting and edge functions. Request data passes through Vercel's infrastructure.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records for tax purposes, retained for up to 7 years).

You may request deletion of your conversation history at any time by emailing hello@primaleva.com.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • · Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • · Correct inaccurate data.
  • · Delete your account and associated data.
  • · Export your conversation history (data portability).
  • · Object to processing or request restriction of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@primaleva.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly for authentication — to keep you logged in between page loads. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the Service before they take effect.
